Australian born music producer, dj and multi instrumentalist DIVI creates bass heavy, soulful music influenced by hip-hop, r&b soul and electro funk. His journey into music started when his older brother brought home an acoustic guitar. 
Drawn to the instrument, DIVI spent his time reverse engineering his favourite tracks from artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Marvin Gaye, and James Brown. The diverse range of genres became his space to explore, where he collaborated with other musicians, capturing the energy of live jams, creativity, and songwriting.

Fast forward some years, DIVI stepped into DJing, with live performances becoming a key focus. He played at some of Melbourne’s most renowned nightclub venues, turning music into an immersive experience.

DIVI shifted his energy into production to explore what he could create independently. Driven by a curiosity for blending worlds, he draws inspiration from a variety of artists, both past and present, including the likes of J Dilla, Kaytranada, Anderson Paak, FKJ and Tom Misch. Endless hours experimenting in the studio allowed him to shape his distinctive sound, expanding his sonic palette across genres and textures. 

 

Currently, DIVI works with artists around the world, helping them define their sound and share the music they love.
